Timeless Poise with Haunted Stillness.

Kammy Wong is an award-winning Asian American actor and voice artist fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, Fuzhounese, and Spanish (conversational). Across her many film, theater and performance roles, she is known to play women who carry timeless poise with haunted stillness; whether they lead with warmth, mystery, or strategy, there is always with control beneath the chaos.

Hailing from Hong Kong and raised in the beautiful and abundant outdoors of Vermont where the woods were her playground, Kammy is no stranger to the creativity and play that comes from living between cultures. She endeavors to live and breath these worlds through her vocation as an actor. And along the way, inspire others to break past limitations and borders, just as she effortlessly did as a child.

  • “Kammy is such a talented actress. Really impressed me and I eventually cast her after 3 rounds of auditions. She knocked it out of the park each time. She understood the material so well, it made my job easier directing. She was someone I could trust to carry a very personal story to me (and to her) and deliver a genuine performance. I can’t imagine having someone else in that role! Every person I’ve talked to who has seen my short praises her performance. She was also just a pleasant person to work with and have on set. I was so lucky to have stumbled upon her talent.”

  • I speak as someone with experience in casting, and as someone that has worked with Ms. Wong as a fellow actress. In Ascend, I watched her give fiery new life to a character that had previously been filled by another talent. Three words come to mind: diligent, immediate, and grounding. Ms. Wong goes above and beyond in her character research: backstory, setting, motivation, etc. Everything is taken into account and explored. She pairs her research with strong instincts that she commits to, mixed with great listening skills while taking direction. She has a calm positivity that encourages collaboration in others during the production process. As our industry pushes forward diverse and unique voices, we need more people like Ms. Wong. She doesn’t take roles and present them; she adds her own perspective and gives the words new meaning. She is a wonderful actress that will undoubtedly continue to grow.

  • She has proven to be a gifted class act of talent. Always punctual and optimistic, Kammy is a joy to have. She has always shown a readiness to work, bringing her skill to each scene and showing the utmost respect to her scene partners. She gives everyone the energy necessary to achieve the best performance possible. Kammy shows a strong inclination toward her work through the rigorous process, proving to be uncommonly intelligent, calm, and driven to grow and succeed.
